WhatsApp Inc has updated its popular messaging app for Android, bringing with it captions to photos and videos, along with miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements. The new update also rolled out the blue ticks feature which allows you to see when your message has been read. The feature was announced a few weeks ago, and the update now makes WhatsApp is better than the older version.

It's available for across mobile platform and uses your 3G or WiFi to message with friends and family. As long as you have an internet connection you can send and receive messages, pictures, audio notes, and video messages.
